Efter frukost moppade vi iväg till lilla Tesco Lotus som ligger mittemot templet på Nai Rai Rd för att köpa maletkaffe och Vanish. De hade inget av det där, så vi fick lov att fortsätta in till BigC i Ban Phe för att handla istället. Därifrån åkte vi till apoteket för att köpa ny myggspray som innehåller höga halter DEET (mot denguemyggor), för den finns inte på andra ställen än där. Men de hade inte fått in nya såna ännu, så det får vänta tills nästa gång vi kommer ner. Faktum är att det inte har varit så lite mygg tidigare, som det faktiskt varit den här vintern. Och det har varit jätteskönt, framförallt för myggutsatta Siv.
När vi skulle åka hem stötte vi på Tomten, som alltid är ute och åker runt på sin moppe för att ge alla barn små paket och godis. Även vi fick två klubbor av honom. Det var nog för att vi är faranger 🙂 Vi åkte utefter strandvägen då vi skulle åka hem. Det är där de alltid har barnens dagfirande inne i Ban Phe. Väldigt mycket folk och långa trafikköer var det utefter vägen. Det var bilar och moppar precis överallt och de hade även öppnat upp militärområdet för parkeringsplats. Massor av aktiviteter och uppträdanden var det där. Och den här dagen är allt gratis för alla barn.
Militära jaktplan kom farandes lågt över området också, som de alltid gör på barnens dag. Senare fick vi tyvärr höra att ett av jaktplanen hade kraschat på en landningsbana nere i södra Thailand, och piloten omkom.

När vi kom hem igen gjorde vi oss iordning för att gå ner till stranden. Nu börjar ångesten krypa på, inför att vi måste lämna vårt härliga varma paradis snart 🙁 Så nu vill vi nyttja dagarna nere vid stranden så mycket vi kan, och njuta av värme och bad.
Lena och Leif var redan där nere. De har ju nyss kommit ner till Thailand, och de njuter för fullt av att äntligen ha kommit till värmen.
Olle kom förbi för att passa på att umgås lite eftersom vi snart åker. Även Mon och Max kom och tillbringade eftermiddagen med oss. Vi badade tillsammans med Max en sista gång för denna vinter. Max fick en av klubborna som vi fått av Tomten vi mötte på tidigare idag, och strandhakets son fick den andra. När Mon och Max skulle åka blev det som vanligt ett tårfyllt farväl.
