Uppdateringen av de sista dagarna i Thailand, resan hem och hemkomsten har blivit försenad då det varit jobbiga och ledsamma dagar.
Lördagen den 13 januari, och barnens dag började bra, och vi såg fram emot en dag tillsammans med Mon, Patrik och Max. Innan vi åkte hemifrån hörde vi Viggenplanen komma flygandes förbi, som de brukar göra på Barnens dag.
Vi moppade de ca 3 milen hem till dem i Mae Phim. Patrik hade köpt ännu en leksak, en vattenskoter, som han skulle ut och köra för första gången. Vi åkte hem till dem och sen åkte vi vidare ner till hamnen, där Patrik skulle lägga i vattenskotern. Patrik körde vattenvägen bort till stranden i Mae Phim, där vi alla möttes upp för att äta lunch, umgås och bada lite.

Det var mycket nässeldjur i vattnet här nere i Mae Phim. Max och Siv kände stingen först som vanligt, och sen även Mon.

Vid 14-tiden var det time för oss att åka hemåt igen, då vi skulle lämna tillbaka vår hyrda motorbike vid 15-tiden, då Lena och Torleif skulle ta över den.
När vi kom hem till vår strand såg vi att Carina satt nere på stranden. Vi åkte hem och packade av oss lite grejer och gick sen ner till henne, nere vid gröna vagnen. Vi tog en öl tillsammans och badade lite. Det satt även en thaifamilj lite längre bort från oss, och deras tre lite större barn lekte nere på stranden. Ett parasoll var nedsatt mitt på stranden, där de kunde sitta i skuggan och bygga i sanden.
Agneta och Leif satt också kvar på stranden en bit bort ifrån oss. Vi gick hem ganska sent på eftermiddagen, och var bland de sista som lämnade stranden vid gröna vagnen. Vi skulle duscha och byta om, innan vi skulle hem till Lena och Thorleif innan vi tillsammans gick ut för att äta middag. När vi knallade bort till stället där vi hyr vår MC, för att äta, såg Stefan att det var alldeles mörkt vid gröna vagnen, fastän köket inte var ihop-plockat. Vanligtvis brukar de sitta och diska och plocka iordning när vi går förbi. Men, han tänkte inte mer på det, utan att de kanske satt nere på stranden och åt eller nåt.
Vi åt middag tillsammans och sen knallade vi tillbaka utefter strandgatan. Vi bestämde att sätta oss vid Thanoms Kitchen och ta något att dricka innan vi gick hem. Siv och Lena gick hem till vår lägenhet först för att gå på toa, medans Stefan och Torleif gick till kvarterskogen och satte sig och väntade på oss.
När Siv och Lena kom ner igen, berättade Stefan och Torleif det hemska som hänt under kvällen. Chamm (maken till ägare av kvarterskrogen) hade kommit fram till dem och berättat att den lilla pojken, vars föräldrar har gröna vagnen, hade hittats i vattnet vid stranden tidigare under kvällen. Alla blev vi djupt chockade och fruktansvärt ledsna förstås. Ingen visste riktigt vad som hänt förutom att han hittats i vattnet och att pappan kört iväg med honom för att få hjälp.
Vad vi fick reda på dagen efter, var att han hade livstecken när pappan åkte iväg med honom, men gick bort senare på sjukhus. Sen hade många olika berättelser om vad som hänt och vad som gjorts vid händelsen, så vi vet inte riktigt, och det spelar ingen roll. Pojken har gått bort, 4 år gammal och alla känner otröstlig sorg 🙁 Tankarna snurrar i huvudet……….om vi hade stannat kvar på stranden en stund till…….hade vi då kunnat förhindra det osv osv

Söndagen den 14 januari var en dag i sorg och tårar.
Det var svårt att sova under natten och sorgen kändes i hela kroppen, och tankarna gick fortfarande runt runt när vi klev upp och skulle äta frukost. Gråten kom och gick hela tiden.
Stefan och Carina hade sedan tidigare bokat tennistid kl 8 på morgonen. Stefan gick ner till tennisbanan för att möta Carina och berätta om vad som hänt. Stefan såg att Gröna köket var bortforslat när han gick hem efter tennisen.
Vi kände att vi inte skulle klara av att gå och sätta oss vid stranden idag, utan vi tog en promenad utefter stranden, bort mot piren istället. På vägen tillbaka och på väg bort mot Pama, stannade vi till vid stranden vid gröna köket, för att prata med några som satt där. Då kom en bil och stannade på vägen därovanför. Ur kliver mamman, en munk och två andra personer. Mamman kommer ner och kramar om oss och gråter hjärtskärande och hejdlöst. Det känns som om inte kan släppa taget, för då viker sig hennes ben. Så fruktansvärt att se hennes sorg och förtvivlan!
Hon berättar att de två personerna som är med, är från sonens skola. Sen går de ner till strandkanten för att tända rökelser och munken pratar ut mot havet. Därefter lämnar bilen strandgatan igen.
Vi lämnar den delen av stranden, och vandrar vidare bortåt, där vi träffar Lena och Torleif vid Pama.
Vi får sedan reda på att alla kan ge pengar till ”tvätteriet” bredvid vårt hus, som de tar med till templet där pojken nu kommer att ligga i tre dagar, och dit alla kan gå och ta farväl. Penninggåvor behövs då begravningen, ceremonierna, mat till gäster m.m. kommer att kosta familjen massor av pengar. Så alla som känner familjen lämnar penninggåvor för att hjälpa familjen.

Olle kom åkandes förbi oss när vi satt på Pama för att äta lunch. Han visste heller inte vad som hänt kvällen innan, och han och Nisse susade förbi på motorbiken då de trodde att de skulle hitta oss på stranden. Stefan ringde Olle som vände och kom till oss vid Pama istället. Nisse stod kvar på moppen och passade den åt husse medans vi pratade.

Tisdagen den 16 januari
Resan hem gick bra och vi landade vid 6.30. Från Kastrup tog vi tåget till Lund, där vi fick klafsa i snöslask till taxin som tog oss hem till Lödde. Återigen har vintern anlänt lagomt till vi kommer hem.
Siv ska jobba i morgon onsdag, och på torsdag bilar vi, Fia och Gunnar till Gävle inför mamma/svärmor/farmors begravning på fredag.
En vecka med massor av gråt och sorg gjorde att dessa uppdateringar blev försenade. Med allt som hänt den senaste tiden, känns alla andra problem ganska futtiga.
Carina har hållit oss uppdaterad om vad som händer i Thailand och om ceremonierna i templet, och annat. Vi lider med föräldrarna och tankarna går till dem hela tiden.
Det var skönt att krama om barnbarn och barn i Gävle när vi kom dit.
På lördagen bilade vi hem till Skåneland igen för att få ordning där hemma efter att ha varit borta i mer än sex veckor.
