Stefan har haft problem med vänstra örat de senaste fem dagarna. Det har gjort ont, varit täppt, kluckat etc. Han har testat Revaxör, olja m.m. m.m. och inget har gjort det bättre. Igår kväll och i natt har det blivit ännu sämre och gjort ännu ondare, så idag skjutsade Olle in oss till Bangkok hospital i Rayong vid 9-tiden.
Stefan tog med passet och försäkringspappren till sjukhuset. Egentligen kanske det hade funkat med en passkopia också. Och som Olle säger…… släpp aldrig ifrån dig ditt pass.
När vi kom in på sjukhuset blev vi hänvisade till våning 2, där Stefan fick gå fram till disken och anmäla sig. De skrev in alla uppgifter, såsom namn, födelsenummer, adress i Thailand, om vi bodde i eget eller hyres, civilstånd, kontaktperson, telefonnummer, tog foto på honom, m.m.
Därefter fick vi sätta oss ner och vänta en liten stund, innan de visade oss till ett annat väntrum vid öron-, näsa-, halsavdelningen. Innan Stefan fick träffa läkaren kollades hans vikt och blodtryck. Läkaren tittade både i hals, näsa och öron och konstaterade att det inte var någon vaxpropp, utan han hade fått en inflammation inne i örat. Troligen på grund av att vatten trängt ner när han badat och dykt. Det är visst ganska vanligt att man kan få såna problem om man har huvudet under vattenytan mycket. Det blev ett snöre som stoppades in i örat för att örondropparna skulle ledas ner i den lite svällda örongången, penicillin och en massa andra tabletter. 4700 Bath senare kom vi ut ifrån sjukhuset igen och Stefan hade fått med sig en påse med alldeles för mycket och för dyra mediciner.
Men det gick snabbt och smidigt på sjukhuset och vi var hemma igen redan innan lunch. Snöret i örat killade så förbenat att Stefan drog ur det senare under eftermiddagen.

När vi kom hem till vår strandgata, satt Carina och Patrik nere på stranden och åt lunch. Patrik kom förbi på sin lunchrast för att träffas en stund. Så vi bytte om till strandkläder och anslöt oss till dem på stranden. Det var alldeles vindstilla där nere, då vi satt i skuggan under parasollen en bit in från vattnet. Det var ju inte så bra, då det inte fläktade alls där. Siv kände ett stick på armen och smällde en mygga som satt sig där. Vi granskade myggan och såg att det var en av de sorter som sprider dengue. Så nu är det bara att vänta och se om denna mygga bar på dengue eller inte. Inkubationstiden är ca 4-7 dagar. Dessa myggor är framförallt aktiva under dagtid. Håller man sig där det fläktar lite, som det oftast gör om man sitter vid borden närmast havet, så fläktar dessa små myggor iväg.

Till kvällens solnedgång kom Johan och Mia till oss och bjöd på prosecco, då de är deras sista kväll här på Mae Ramphung. I morgon förmiddag åker de till Bangkok innan de dagen efter ska hem till Sverige igen. Det har varit så mysigt att få hänga tillsammans här nere igen.
