Idag är det Carinas födelsedag, och hon har bjudit med ett gäng vänner på en heldagsbåttur med MS/Sunflower som hon har hyrt idag.
9.15 samlades vi som skulle med, nere på vår strandgata, där en songtaew kom och hämtade upp oss. Sen bar det iväg till ett ställe bortom Ban Phe, där turbåten ligger. Därifrån gav vi oss iväg ut till några av de mindre öarna som finns utanför där vi bor. Vi badade från båten och en del snorklade lite. Tyvärr har många av de fina fiskarna och korallerna, som tidigare år funnits där ute, försvunnit numera. Stefan såg stor skillnad på hur det såg ut på korallrevet utanför Koh Talu lu, mot för hur det såg ut där när vi var där för fem år sedan tillsammans med Catrine och hennes kompis Klara.
Orsaken är oftast att allt för många varit där och snorklat och tyvärr kliver på och rör vid korallerna med simfötterna, och då dör korallerna.
Men en fantastisk dag med underbart väder hade vi, och arrangörerna grillade fläskfilé åt oss på en av öarna och vi åt det tillsammans med stekt potatis, bearnaisesås och sallad. Supergott! De serverade även bubbel och vi skålade och hurrade för Carina på hennes födelsedag.
Eftersom Carina har precis allt i sin lägenhet + mer därtill, köpte vi inte någon pryl till henne i födelsedagspresent, utan vi ska bjuda henne på en hemlagad middag hemma hos oss på fredag kväll istället, som present.
Kvällen avslutades med en middag tillsammans på vår kvarterskrog med hela båtgänget.
